The Owners’ Counsel of America, Southeastern Legal Foundation, National Association of Reversionary Property, and Profs. Shelley Ross Saxer and James W. Ely, Jr., filed an amicus brief in support of Mr. Sammons yesterday, encouraging the High Court to review whether citizens should be forced to litigate Fifth Amendment taking claims in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and a copy of that brief is attached to this e-mail message.  Additionally, the Solicitor General has requested that the deadline for it to respond to Mr. Sammons' petition be extended to Feb. 1, 2018, and a copy of that request is attached to this e-mail message.17-795-0002 17-795-0003
