Treasury asked the Fifth Circuit for 30 additional days to file its brief. The Court granted Treasury 20 additional days. Treasury’s brief is now due Sept. 8. FHFA is asking the Fifth Circuit for a similar extension to Sept. 8 to file its brief. The Eleventh Circuit entered an order Friday extending the deadline for the Edwards Plaintiffs to file their opening brief to Oct. 2, 2017, and a copy of that order is attached to this e-mail message.17-12852-0009
