FHFA filed a request today asking the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa to stay all proceedings in that case until 14 days after the MDL Panel makes its transfer and consolidation decision. Magistrate Anderson entered an order today directing:
— Mr. Pagliara must file any opposition to Freddie Mac and FHFA’s motion to stay by Mon., Apr. 4, 2016;
— Freddie Mac must file any reply by Tues., Apr. 5, 2016; and
— Freddie Mac and FHFA’s motion to to stay will be decided on the papers filed with the Court.
